Dănuț Iacob was born in April 1975 in Dumbrăveni, Suceava county, being the ninth of 11 children.
At the age of 18 he made a covenant with the Lord though the water baptism and from that point on the God of the Bible became his personal God. Same year, through the grace of God, he was also baptized in the Holy Spirit.
In the spring of 1997, he emigrated to Italy and shortly after he was elected in the church board from via Anacapri, Roma.
In August 1999 he made a love covenant with Geta and God enriched their home with 5 children: Sara, Samuel, Edera, Clarisa, Remina-Adeline.
In August 2000 the foundation of Elim Church in Perugia was established. At that point the church had about 40 members. The Church grew year after year and gradually brother Dănuț was ordained as deacon, then elder, and from 2010 he is serving as pastor.
He is graduate from European Theological Seminary of the Church of God Extension Schools of Christian Ministry under the leadership of Carl Simpson Ph. and from Sola Scriptura College and Seminary Chicago, USA, in the seminar class from Firenze.
